They haven't been able to make a go of the Franklin Mall in 'downtown' Santa Clara for almost 50 years. This somewhat larger project seems to be a bit out of their league. This is something that Andy might pick up on and that the Yorks don't want to hear. Go back to Newsom, pretend the pissing contest never occured. Guaranteed he'll do the same and the real work of finding a workable stadium plan can get started. This may be here nor there but Santa Clara is a nice little town.
